Differences!

The first day I came to London was full of new experiences. My host family picked me up at the airport, they were so kind and gave me some flowers as a welcoming present. My new life in London couldn't have started better but then there was the first thing which went wrong. You have to know I'm from Germany and the traffic is on the right side not on the left. So, we went to the car and I forgot to look right first so I nearly went in front of a car! Furthermore I wanted to sit on the right side because I used to sit there in Germany.

Now I'm getting used to the traffic in London. Sometimes my host child has to remind me but that's fine I think she likes to correct me!
