The Sky Garden

I had a nice time today. A friend of mine, who I met shortly after I arrived London, invited me to join the birthday celebration of her husband. They had booked a table at a restaurant before we arrived.

The Restaurant is located in central London close to Monument station. It is on the 36th floor in a skyscraper which is called the Walkie Talkie skyscraper. It is very nice; I would say it’s a beautiful, eye-catching building. We were told at the restaurant that it is 170 meters high. It has got a fantastic view with an open-plan balcony. Visitors can enjoy a full view of the River Thames with fantastic buildings.

The restaurant is called Darwin Brassiere. We enjoyed our food with great pleasure. There is another restaurant on the top floor as well. These restaurants are very busy and everybody has to book in advance. We had a great time, had tasty, nice food with wine and brandy. Then we walked around for a while and returned back home.

I was very impressed and will go another day again.
