Silviya's Life!
I am from Turkey, I was born in Bulgaria on 20th October and we moved to Turkey with my family when I was 9 years old. I started learning to speak Turkish when we moved there. That time was so difficult for me because it was difficult to adapt. In Bulgaria I had been a popular student but in Turkey I had a shy childhood for a period of time. The biggest reason for this was language and culture differences. Luckily I settled in quickly.
I graduated from 2 Universities in Turkey and then I used to work for an important company for many years as a Design Manager. One day I thought time is flying, so everyone should do what they want before they die. That is why I resigned from my job without telling anyone , because I knew everyone would try to stop me and then I would be confused. What I thought they would do, they did but it was too late as I had already resigned. And then I found my self here two weeks later. I came to improve my English skills. I am open minded person, I love to learn new things and teach others. That is why I want to improve my English in the motherland England.
I want to tell you about my family. My mother and father are both 60 years old and retired. My father also has his own workshop. I have one sister and she works as a Foreign Trade Specialist for a company. My parents used to go to work and I used to look after my sister. She was 7 years younger than me. My sister is my life. We are so close. Everyone (her friends and my friends) is very surprised and envious about our great relationship.
I used to live alone in İstanbul. My parents live outside İstanbul. University caused me to come to İstanbul then I continued living there. Istanbul is the most metropolitan and busiest city in Turkey. When I was in my own city I used to play badminton and most of the time I went swimming. I used to go to Latin dance classes and joined piano classes but still I cannot play properly! I enjoy artistic activities. I like learning new things about different cultures. I like music, art galleries, museums, dancing and communicating with people.
Lastly, what about my future? Firstly, I wish peace for the world. For me, I am sure by the end of the year I will be speaking fluent English because I have an amazing teacher and she is interested in all of us, she deserves the biggest thanks. And I will have lots of experiences and after I hope ( fingers crossed) I can open my own design company![if gte vml 1]><v:shapetype id="_x0000_t75" coordsize="21600,21600" o:spt="75" o:preferrelative="t" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" filled="f" stroked="f"> <v:stroke joinstyle="miter"></v:stroke> <v:formulas> <v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"></v:f> <v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"></v:f> <v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"></v:f> <v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"></v:f> <v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f> <v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f> <v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"></v:f> <v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"></v:f> <v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f> <v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"></v:f> <v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f> <v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"></v:f> </v:formulas> <v:path o:extrusionok="f" gradientshapeok="t" o:connecttype="rect"></v:path> <o:lock v:ext="edit" aspectratio="t"></o:lock> </v:shapetype><v:shape id="OWAEmoji361908" o:spid="_x0000_i1025" type="#_x0000_t75" alt="😊" style='width:14.25pt;height:14.25pt'> <v:imagedata src="file:///C:\Users\tesol\AppData\Local\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_image001.png" o:href="cid:d2149051-faee-4181-8b22-47bf7c0921af"></v:imagedata> </v:shape><![endif][if !vml][endif]
