A Proposal to Honour a Special Hero

In response to your invitation, I am writing to suggest a local hero who, in my opinion, deserves to be honoured. My hero is from my neighbourhood.

My choice

My choice is Gustavo Beltrame. He is an extraordinary lawyer. I admire him very much because when he was a law student he didn’t have enough to eat and, nevertheless, he continued and he managed to succeed. He used to have three jobs to be able to pay his way through university and sometimes he couldn’t pay for the basic things like proper food or clothes. He has worked very hard to obtain what he has now, and he still works everyday to keep it. He is still a hard worker and a passionate person who always solves problems and helps others to achieve what they want.

Reasons for my choice

First of all, he is the best dad in the world. Yes, he is my dad and he cares a lot about his family. The main reason I chose him is because he is a good person and it is hard to find really good people nowadays. He always tries to help others even when he is busy or can’t do it because it is out of what he can manage. But he is always there, encouraging you and trying to help you anyway. He helps everyone, not only family, but people in general, and he doesn’t have to do that but he does. So, I admire him for his job and his achieves and most of all because he is the best human being I have ever met. He is honest. So I vote for him because he is the most honest person in my town. As a lawyer and as a human being, I chose him and not because he is my dad, but because he knows how to succeed in life and how to be a good person as well. He has taught me that I can be both and the only thing I need is to trust in myself.
