A Review- Tell Me Who I Am
Tell me who I am.
Tell me who I am is a bestseller in which you can enjoy reading about the most important events of the 20th century.
The story begins with the Spanish Civil War and finish with the Fall of the Berlin Wall. Also, it takes place in different cities such as Buenos Aires, Moscow, Milan or Warsaw.
The novel contains a great variety of interesting characters, because it is one story about another one. You can discover how the main character, Guillermo Albi, who works as a journalist, writes a book about his grandmother, Amelia Garayoa's life. That's why he is able to explore how these events have been remembered and in many cases, forgotten.
The amazing Amelia who left her family to get to know herself, starts to work as a spy and lives through many of the 20th century's most significant events. Actually, because of following in love, she appears in each important moment and city, she never had an easy life and she always proved to be a tough women.
In my opinion, I can say it's one of the best novels that I've ever read. The story makes you involved in the suspense of Amelia's adventures. Most importantly, reading the book you can feel the same feelings as Amelia Garayoa throughout her her life.
