This Saturday's Diary
This Saturday's Diary
The best thing about weekends is I don't need to rush. So, if I don't have any plans, I can do everything at my own pace.
This Saturday, I had brunch and enjoyed having a cup of coffee and then I went to Borough Market with my husband.
Actually, it had been a while since I last went there. What surprised me was there were lots more people than I expected. I felt that there were more people at this market than the one that I went to before. I thought this market must have become more attractive for tourists.
While we were exploring this market, I saw some interesting food which I had never seen in a supermarket in London. The first one was salmon eggs. I used to eat them at a sushi bar in Japan but since they are so expensive, I could only eat them on a special occasion. This time, they were sold in a bin at an affordable price so I purchased some to use for dinner. I'm going to eat them on some rice!
The second thing I was interested in was smoked duck meat. As I had seen some pictures of it being used in meals, I was very curious about it, therefore as soon as I found some, I bought it. I'm going to use it in a salad!
On my way back home, I found a beautiful flower shop. This shop had lots of dried flowers hanging from the ceiling, which made the shop gorgeous. It looked as if I had entered a fairyland. Since I was influenced by this shop, I planted flowers in pots at home. I 'm looking forward to seeing them bloom!
