My Favourite Film - 1001 Nights

Usually I’m not really impressed by films, but “1001 Nights” is a film that makes me very impressed. The film was released in Turkey and there are three main characters in the film, whose names are Shahrazad, Onur, and Shahrazad’s son.

From the beginning, it shows that Onur is the boss of a famous company, he needs unmarried staff or those who haven’t got children to work in his company, and Shahrazad was accepted by Onur thanks to her friend's' help, obviously her friend didn’t tell the boss that she has got a child.

When she comes to the interview , the boss Onur gets a different feeling from Shahrazad, because she is a very beautiful , attractive and very intelligent lady, obviously she does not look like she has got a child.

Elmar is a very quiet boy, who is Shahrazad’s son, he is just 5 years old and unluckily he has cancer. His father died when he was around 1 year old and he needs to be seen by a special doctor, it means that Shahrazad needs a lot of money to bring her son's doctor from abroad, so she is in a really difficult situation.

She starts her job with the company, and just a few days later, she goes to her boss's office and asks him to lend her some money, but she isn't able to tell him that she will use the money for her son, so the boss misunderstands her requirement and tells her that for one night, if she spends a night with him, whatever she needs she can get it the next day. She gets so angry when she hears what her boss says, and she leaves her job, and Onur starts to respect her.

After few days she still isn't able to find money from anywhere, and she comes back and accept his request. Onur is really shocked. She cries so much during the day and the next day, but whatever she is going to do is for her son. After that day Onur is really impressed with her, because she is different, and he really gets interested in her.

After a long story, Onur finds out about her situation, her son gets better and Onur and Shahrazad get married. I have no chance to tell all the story properly, but I was really impressed by the film from the point of view that ”a mother is a person who is different from everybody and they can die for their children.”
