Carnival in Brazil :)

In Brazil, the annual carnival is the biggest and most famous festival around the world. It takes place in all the cities of Brazil, however the most important is the carnival in the city of Rio de Janeiro.

The carnivalescos, are the people who prepare the parades for the carnival. The hard work starts one year before the actual carnival!The costumes are out of this world and so colourful. The dancing is fabulous and many people wear masks. In my opinion, the carnival is really spectacular and awe-inspiring because it attracts many tourists from over the world.

However, on the other hand it also increases child prostitution, violence and drug use. I'm not sure, it is said that many people who patronise the carnival are drug traffickers. It may be true , because the vast majority of carnivalescos are slum people who live in the slums.
