Porto Santo Stefano, the village that stole my heart!
If you want to chill out after a long and stressful time or if you’re a seaside lover and you’re looking for breathtaking beaches, then Porto Santo Stefano is the right place for you.
Porto Santo Stefano is a seaport village on the west coast of Italy, in the Province of Grosseto, Tuscany. It offers wide and accessible beaches, as well as very remote ones. The water is always crystal clear but very salty, and on the shores there are pebbles instead of sand.
Last summer I went there and I had a lovely time with my family. People who live there are very friendly and helpful. In Porto Santo Stefano you can find many facilities; there are lots of restaurants offering high quality seafood, served on terraces overlooking the sea. So you can eat tasty food while admiring a picturesque and awe-inspiring view.
During the summer evenings, the city organises many events like medieval festivals and parties in the streets and night clubs. I’ve been to a medieval festival there and it was awesome: people wore medieval costumes and played ancient music all night long.
I recommend you go there because it is really worth it!☺
