A Storm At Sea!
This is a little story about my epic journey...
The weather in London was a bit chilly so Alexandra and I were thinking about heading somewhere warmer and after a few days of discussing our choices we agreed to travel to French Polynesia.
We began our journey in Bora Bora and headed towards the island of Fiji. It was my first trip with Alexandra and I was so anxious that it almost made my heart to explode. We knew each other quite well but I was still very nervous. On board we took with us lots of beverages and some snacks because we wouldn't survive without these essentials for long.
When we began our journey the weather was just lovely but after few days of our tour, disaster began! We got caught in a very bad storm. It was pouring for nearly a day and I thought it would never stop. When the skies cleared up we saw a small island and I knew it wasn't Fiji. We got off and bumped into local aborigines. There were something like a 1000! We tried to explain to them what had happened but their English was as good as my Taiwanese, so we left the island and I decided to take control of the situation. Our compass didn't really work properly so I had to orientate using the wind and stars. By the time it got dark I had already managed to find the right way.
Finally after few sleepless nights we moored at Fiji. We spent a day out there and then continued our journey all the way to New Zealand.
