My Future Travel Plans

I am going to visit Finland from 4th to 8th this coming September. As a couple, my wife and I will be meeting for the first time in 5 months, so this trip itself has great meaning for both of us. We have been to many countries in Europe, for example; the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary and so on. However, this is the first time for us to go to a country in Northern Europe. Now in Japan goods made in northern Europe are very popular, so we have been really looking forward to going there. We are going to visit Helsinki and Tampere.

In Finland, we are going to visit famous sightseeing spots in Helinki such as Helelsinki Cathedral, Uspenskin Cathedral, Suomenlinna and so on. We will also visit Tampera Cathedral, Mummin Museum and other museums related to communism in Tampere. Furthermore, we are planning to go shopping in several popular shops, such as Marimekko, Ittara, and other shops. They have been very popular in Japan for years as famous Northern European shops because of their unique designs. My wife really likes imported housing goods. She was familiar with them even before we planned to visit Finland and she's made her list of things to buy there.

Of course, we are thinking about the pleasures of dining out while travelling. We've already reserved a table in several restaurants there. We would like to try special the cuisines in Northern Europe.

I am very excited to visit Finland this coming September!
