Short Story - A Dreadful Experience!

As usual, on Monday Susanne and her friend Anna were going back home. While they were going past a shop Anna realized she had forgotten to buy some milk so she left Susanne and went into the shop. Susanne stayed outside alone. Suddenly, a big black van stopped near the girl and three men got out of the car. Two of them came up to her and before she realised she was in trouble one of them put a wet cloth over her face. She instantly passed out.

She woke up in complete darkness in a basement. When she tried to move she noticed that her feet were bound thus she couldn’t move. Then she realised she had been kidnapped. Someone had taken her hostage and was keeping her locked against her will. It was dreadful! She started to panic. She felt stiff all over and kept feeling hot and then cold. She got really short of breath. It was an extremely rough experience. She wanted to cry and shout but out of the blue a small part of the roof caved in, triggered by a fire which was spreading very rapidly. Luckily, she managed to move to a safe side of the room so that’s why firefighters could evacuate her before the whole place went up in flames.

After that the police realized she was that girl who had completely vanished and they had been looking for her for several days. The police who were conducting the investigation caught that criminal group. They were sentenced to 10 years in prison for assault and kidnapping.
