My Trip to Ireland 😊

Two weeks ago I went to Ireland with my sister. We thought about going to Scotland but we came to the conclusion that Ireland would be nicer. The other reason was I had never been to Ireland so I wanted to go there.

Firstly, in the morning we arrived in Dublin. After we had had breakfast, we luckily found a free city tour there and we decided to join it. Our city guide was Irish and in the beginning, it was a bit difficult for me to understand. She was speaking too fast. Anyway, it was good because she knew everywhere and it became easier for us. However, when we were taking photos we realised that we had missed our tour group and we had been going in the wrong direction. We could not find them so we visited other places by ourselves. Dublin is not as big as London so you can go everywhere very easily because it is small and cute, such a lovely city.

On the second day, we travelled to Belfast on a Giant's Causeway Northern Ireland tour. In the morning, we arrived at Dark Hedges which is famous from the hit TV series Game of Thrones. This beautiful avenue of beech trees had really unique trees unlike any others I had ever seen before. We spent a few minutes there then we went to the Rope Bridge where I most wanted to go. We had to hike from our bus to the bridge. All the way you can see every kind of green and blue along the path so it’s possible to dive into dreams. It is a Rope Bridge that links the mainland to a tiny Island. While we were crossing the bridge, it was shaking. It was an amazing experience and our adrenaline increased, it was really exciting. I think I really enjoyed it because I like adrenaline sports! When you crossed the bridge, you had a stunning view from the hill on the tiny island. It was a bit of a struggle but it was worth it. I am sure from there the sunset looks enormous.

However, after the Rope Bridge we went to Giant's Causeway where there are big, enormous, interesting rocks made by a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago and it’s Ireland's most famous site and was made a Unesco World Heritage site. Then, the final stop of our tour was Belfast, it was small and cute city as well but I liked Dublin more than Belfast.

Overall, our İreland tour was wonderful. I love Irish people they were so welcoming and friendly and they especially love fun and beer 😊. One day, if you go there do not miss going to a pub and drinking Irish beer which is famous and which is called 'Guiness' . Furthermore, Irish pubs are different from English pubs. I am sure you will like them and you will enjoy Ireland.
