My Life in the Czech Republic :)

Hello, my name is Monika Vlckova. I am 20 years old and I am from the Czech Republic. I was born in a small but beautiful town called Hradec Kralove. I graduated from grammar school in 2016 and then I started studying at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague. Prague is the capital city of the Czech Republic. I shared a flat there with three roommates. I am thinking about changing university because I am not absolutely sure this is the right choice for my future. Maybe I will continue studying English when I go back.

My family is not so big. There are four members – my mother, father, sister and me. My mother's name is Martina. She is 50 years old. She doesn´t work anymore because she has health problems. My father's name is Pavel. He is 54 years old. He works for a company as a production master. His company produces various metal castings. My sister's name is Kate. She is 26 years old. She graduated from the University of Economics in Prague and now she works for an American company. She worked for one year as an au pair in England too.

Now I would like to tell more about my hobbies. I like sports. I used to play table tennis when I was a child. I love playing tennis, jogging, hiking and traveling too. Besides sports I like reading books, watching movies and spending time with my friends.

I decided to travel abroad because I needed some change in my life. I always wanted to develop my knowledge of the English language. I think being here as an au pair is one of the best ways to achieve this.
