A Beautiful Book

I remember with fondness a book which I read when I was in Dublin five or six years ago, its name in Spanish is “la historia interminable” and it is written by the German writer Michael Ende.

The book is about a boy, whose name is Damien, and he doesn’t have any friends in his school. Every day when he has a break, he usually goes to read a book. This book isn’t a normal book, because he can feel that the characters in the book are calling him, they need his help to save their world and finally Damien travels inside the book.

It is a beautiful book because you can see that a person who thinks he isn’t important to anybody is important to a lot of people.
