My Hometown - Osaka, Japan :0)
I’m from Osaka, Japan. Osaka is the second biggest city in Japan and is to the west of Tokyo. The most famous symbol in my town is Osaka Castle. It was built in 1583 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Here in the spring, we can see a lot of full bloomed cherry blossoms therefore many people come to see the flowers.
Next, the most typical food in Osaka is Takoyaki. Takoyaki is a golf ball shaped Japanese snack. It is made from wheat and batter cooked on a specially shaped griddle. The cakes contain chopped octopus. It tastes very good.
Universal Studios Japan is the most famous place in my town. It opened in 2001 as a movie based theme park. There are a lot of exciting rides so we can enjoy ourselves all day.
Doutonbori is the most popular area to go out at night. There are a lot of neon billboards beside the river. It is home to many restaurants, food stalls, entertainment and shops. Take the time to hang out here at night.
