Being polite in Spain!

Depending on the people that you meet or the country where you stay, the advice can change.

For example, in Spain when you meet up with someone or arrive at the home of someone, you should give two kisses on the cheeks. When you meet someone for the first time, the same. You must only shake hands with someone important or in a formal situation like for example in the bank.

You mustn't start eating if all the people don't have their food and if the food is in the centre of the table and you need to pick up the food, you shouldn't eat the last part (if you are the guest).

The other things like don't smoke or that you shouldn't arrive late I think that is the same as in the UK.
