Dinner Guests in Spain!

If a Spanish person or a Spanish group invite you to dinner, first of all, it is very important on the one hand not to ask your host or hostess how much they earn and on the other hand to arrive on time. It´s always a good idea to take some desserts or something to drink, for example wine.

Its polite to shake hands when you are greeting a man and to kiss woman on the cheek.

When you are eating, you must eat with your mouth closed and be polite at the table, for example I can’t eat with people who eat with their mouth open. If they eat with their mouth open, I won´t ever eat with them.

If you are eating with a non-smoking group, it is very important to ask if you can smoke, and if they say yes, you must smoke outside in the garden. Try not to smoke more than once or twice at the dinner.
