Christmas in My Country

I have always loved this month and still do now because it is a special date for families and everybody tries to do some special things for other people. I think, it is a time to create happy moments and talk a little about your goals for this year. All the members of my family try to be together and share some unforgettable moments in our lives.

People in Ecuador have a dinner with their family and they give some presents to the smallest in the family. Big companies try to collect money to give food and toys to poor families. It is the best part of Christmas to give to people, and I think they always need a hand.

Sometimes people do a traditional game called “Secret friend”. It can be played at schools with classmates, ex-classmates, colleagues, members of the family or close friends. People plan a date to share their gifts, after that you have a dinner and a party. I will have the same game with my classmates and teacher, but I’ve got the most difficult person! I have to think a lot about what kind of present I will give.

This year, I’m going to be in London for Christmas, I don’t have a plan at the moment but maybe I will go with some classmates to share a moment together. Next weekend, I am going to Brighton for a Christmas dinner with my family in London. I would like to be in Ecuador, only for those dates and share this special time with my friends and family.
