A Spanish Christmas šš„š½
Christmas Eve is a special night because my whole family gets together.
We normally celebrate Christmas night in a Txoko (Basque word), which is restaurant run by a small gastronomic society where only men can cook. It is a comfortable, quiet and friendly place.
My stepfatherās family loves food and every year they try to do different dishes for each course, for example, last year our first course was a light fish soup, the main course was a sirloin with a Roquefort sauce and the dessert was a champagne and vanilla ice cream cocktail, It was really good.
We also play secret Santa with some different rules, if you want your present, you have to sing, tell a joke or dance. After that you get your present and you have to guess who bought the gift. If you don't guess who bought it, you have to wait until your next turn!
