Yuka from Japan!

I have been in the UK for a year and just started attending this school. I was in Oxford before I came to London and attended another language school there for three months. I also worked in an ice cream shop while I was studying.

The reason why I moved to London was to find a full time job to further my career and because there are many more opportunities. However the job which I got in London was quite hard work with so much responsibility on my own and I worked with Japanese people.

My visa is only valid for two years and I thought I’d rather enjoy being in the UK, thus I left that job last year and started learning English again for my future life.

I was in Canada for a year and I really loved it because it’s such a friendly nation, so I decided upon my life objective - to live there or maybe in the UK!

Canadian English, which I learnt before, and British English are quite different. Nevertheless, learning the differences between different cultures is so enjoyable.

I am looking forward to gaining more English knowledge and broadening my horizons from now on :)
