If you visit France......
In France you can find a wide choice of activities, you can go hiking, skiing in the Alps, scuba diving in the Mediterranean sea, sunbathe on the beaches, or do some sightseeing all over France. In France you can find almost all the climates and landscapes.
If you have never been to France before, you should definitely go to the capital city, Paris, first. You can get a metro map, get on the metro and do some shopping on the Champs Elysées, if you can afford it. You can also do some sightseeing or go to some museums. The first place you definitely have to see in Paris, if you are a tourist, is the Eiffel Tower and l’Arc de Triomphe.
My advice, if you want to stay in Paris for a couple of days, is that you have to be cautious about pick-pockets as they are everywhere in Paris. Do not feel offended by the Parisian rudeness on public transport. Parisian people are rude, stressed and in a hurry all the time!
My last piece of advice is to avoid eating or buying something too close to a touristy place as it will be very expensive. It may be a tourist trap.
Despite each area in Paris having something to offer, you can also try another part of France such as Brittany in the Western part. It’s a lovely place for sailing for example, you can also visit Chambord castle in the centre, and if you go to the Eastern part you can find l’Alsace a lovely place with the nicest villages I have ever seen.
After Paris, the most famous place in France is probably the French Rivera, with Nice, Perpignan, Marseilles and Monaco.
It’s really a crowded area in the summer as everyone wants to go there. The weather is hot so do not forget sunscreen or a hat or you might be badly burned.
In order to avoid the crowd on the beaches, I highly recommend that if you go to the south part of France in Summer, you should go to the countryside at least once during your stay to see its extraordinary scenery. You can discover Grasse, the perfume city or Rocamadour and Carcassonne, two gorgeous medieval villages.
You should also go to the market and immerse yourself in the Lilac flavor, fruits, and vegetables.
Before you go back to your country it would be a shame if you did not eat the local specialities like Ratatouille, or Aioli some vegetables specialities :)
