My sunny weekend

Last weekend was such a sunny one that it felt like summer had come. People in the UK loves these sunny days, everyone goes out and enjoys the fabulous weather. So did my classmates and I.

On Sunday we met up in front of the college to spend this sunny day together. We were planning to go for a picnic, so first of all we went to the local supermarket to buy some food and cake as two of our classmates had birthdays recently. Then we headed to Hyde Park because it is such a lovely and huge park and on the top of that one of our classmates works there so he was able to join us right after he finished his job.

When we got there, we looked for a nice and a cool place because for some of us the sun was too hot. Afterwards we placed our blankets and food in some shade under a tree. When everyone sat down we started our picnic with some great food while we were listening to music and then we just chilled out.

One girl had brought a football therefore after a while we played some ball games. In fact, one man and his daughter joined us, and it was quite fun to do some sport activities as well. I played volleyball with a football with one guy. To be fair, it was hurting my hands, but it was worth it as I love volleyball.

Unfortunately, I had to leave in the afternoon, but I still have had a great time and I am very thankful to my classmates for the time we spent together!
