The Cotswolds
On the last bank holiday, I went to the Cotswolds with my host-family and my cousin. We arrived there on Saturday evening, it was late so we had some dinner on the terrace, the house was awesome and the residential area was full of the same detached and huge houses, all they were made of White Wood. On the first day we had dinner at home and then we played a game all together and it was really funny.
On Sunday we woke up at 9, we had brunch at a Restaurant near our house and then we went on an excursion. In the afternoon we went to a lake where they had inflatable mattresses located on the top of the lake, we had to swim in the lake to reach the mattresses and the weather was absolutely freezing. In the evening, my cousin and I went to a restaurant for dinner.
On Monday we woke up at 10 and we went biking and then we had brunch on the terrace, it was so sunny that we couldn’t stay on the terrace for more than 30 minutes so finally we had to go inside the house. Once we finished brunch we packed our bags, and we all went back home.
I have to say that Cotswolds surprised me a lot in a good way. It’s a really beautiful and peaceful place to stay for a few days. I couldn’t stay more days because once you do an excursion and a few walks or aquatic activities, there’s nothing else to do, just relax.
