A Review - How To Get Away With Murder
If you are looking for a series to keep you in suspense, you can´t do better than How To Get Away With Murder. This is my absolute favourite drama/suspense thriller. It tells the story of Annalise Keatin´s life as quite a recognized lawyer in the United States. She is a teacher and gathers a group of five students to do their law practice with her, and together they have to get through unexpected situations that make them behave in ways they would never have imagined.
From the beginning, the plot catches you when the law students commit a murder and they kill Annalise´s husband, who had killed his previous lover. Annalise is forced to help the students to avoid jail. The life of the five students (Wes Gibbins, Connor Walsh, Asher Milstone, Laurel Castillo, Michaela Pratt) and Annalise start to become involved and while they try to hide their crime, they take different cases to defend people who are not always innocent.
What makes it a highly original series is that in each episode, the story becomes more and more complicated and you can never guess what is going to happen. One of the things I love about it is while the plot develops, the worst part of each character is shown and the series keeps you in two minds: are they good or bad people? You just can´t stop watching it.
How To Get Away With Murder is an example of a very imaginative series which makes you think, what would I have done if I had been in that situations. I really recommended it. But, be careful, you could realize you are not as honest as you think!
